傍晚（流沙画）
夕阳西下，充塞大地间的暮气仍在发挥着它的余威，把枯树林及林内的屋宇都用朱红色盖罩起来。
没有一丝风，连芭蕉叶也不稍拂动。沈闷的热气仍未散尽，燠热难当，此刻出外活动，不消几分钟就会汗流浃背了。
还好，暮色够美，也足以让人们流连了。
乡间，夏天的傍晚，如果没风，闷热，走在外面，几公里之内找不到住家，没有人影，单独一个人，听着蝉鸣，会有一种凄苦孤独的感受。这种甚似寂寞无助的感觉，没住过乡下的人是体悟不出来的。
In the Evening/sand painting
As the sun sinks in the west, the earth is still enveloped in gloom, and crimson tones cover the withered forest and houses in the woods.
There is not a breath of wind, and the banana leaves are completely still. Stifling heat is still rising from the earth, and the warm is hard to bear. Anyone going out at this time will be drenched in sweat within a few minutes.
Nevertheless, this evening scene was memorably beautiful.
On a hot, windless summer evening in the countryside, if you go out to where nobody lives within a few kilometers, and listen to the cicadas, all alone, you will experience a particularly lonely feeling. People who have never lived in the country cannot imagine this lonely, helpless feeling.@
