藍鵲 （彩墨）
這種鳥叫台灣藍鵲，又叫長尾山娘。應該是台灣特有種，故被冠上「台灣」兩字。
在這裡，吾人主要是要畫台灣藍鵲，所以把釋迦樹、釋迦果都放淡，以免搶去藍鵲的光彩。
朋友們說長尾山娘在飛行時是一隻接一隻，排成一路縱隊飛行，而不是各飛各的，飛行隊伍很好看。不知道是不是真的。
在我小時候，由於台灣剛剛光復，物資缺乏，農人們也沒有什麼吃的，就捕捉野鳥來吃，以致山野寂寂，很少聽到鳥鳴。這些年來人們富足了，大家開始重視環保了，也願意保護野生動物，因而鄉野的鳥類漸漸多了起來，如八哥、喜鵲、藍鵲等野鳥越來越常見，真是大家的福氣。@
Blue Magpie/ink and color painting
This kind of bird is called the Formosan blue magpie, and is also called the “long-tailed mountain woman.” Because it is endemic to Taiwan, its name usually bears the prefix “Formosan.”
Here, I mostly wanted to paint a magpie, so I deemphasized the custard apple tree and its fruit, so they wouldn’t divert people’s attention from the magpie.
A friend told me that blue magpies fly one after another, forming a line of birds in the sky, and don’t fly individually. It’s very interesting to see a flock in flight. I don’t know whether this is true or not.
During my childhood, not long after the end of World War II, material resources were woefully lacking. Because farming families didn’t have enough to eat, they caught and ate wild birds. As a result, the countryside was silent, and bird songs were seldom heard. People are quite affluent nowadays, and everyone pays more attention to environmental protection and protection of wildlife. As a result, there are more and more wild birds around, including myna birds, the Eurasian magpie, and the blue magpie. This is good news for everyone.@
