百合（彩墨）
曾經有過機緣去「基隆嶼」上走一趟，對那島裡陡坡上開滿了遍山遍野的野百合印象深刻。它們實在太美了，大家都不忍踩踏，更沒人去採摘。這種百合花應該是台灣原生種吧，長在貧瘠的山坡上，乏人照顧，因此植株也不高，未開花時不引人注目，一旦開起花來，遍山遍野，頗能吸引人。
我曾經去台東鸞山原住民部落去玩，他們把路邊及樹下的雜草剪的是清潔溜溜，卻小心地保留一些纖細稀疏的野百合莖葉。細瘦的小百合雖沒有開花含苞，但仍受人憐愛。
來年，它們會努力開花，吹奏一朵朵純白無瑕，蕊頭幾點赭黃，令人垂憐的小喇叭。
Lilies /ink and color painting
I once had the opportunity to visit Keelung Island, and the wild lilies growing profusely on the island’s steep hillsides left a deep impression on me. They were truly beautiful; no one could bear to step on them, and no one picked any. This type of lily is probably endemic to Taiwan. It grows on barren hillsides, uncared for by human hands. The plants are low-lying, and inconspicuous when not in bloom. But when they start to flower, the blossoms covering the mountains and countryside attract plenty of human attention.
I once went on an excursion to the aboriginal village at Luanshan, Taitung County. The people there had cut back all the underbrush from along the road and under the trees, but were careful to preserve the scattered lily plants. Although the scrawny little lilies were not in bloom, people were still taking care of them.
When they bloom in coming years, they will erupt in patches of small pure white trumpet-shaped flowers adorned with spots of brownish-yellow, and continue to attract the affection of passers-by. @
