晨曦從東方漸次移來，帶來光明。
森林裡，野獸、昆蟲、禽鳥和草木漸次甦醒過來了，帶來了熱鬧。
「喂！起床了！」那是白兔媽媽喊的，要把小白兔寶寶喊醒。
「早安！」此起彼落，到處有這聲音響起。是森林裡的野獸、昆蟲、禽鳥和草木醒來了，第一次見面，便相互這麼招呼著。好親切！
漸漸地，有歌聲響起了。演唱的曲子是「森林的早晨」。最先是白頭翁起的音，漸次加入了烏鶖、斑鴿、青苔鳥、白翎鷥、黃鶯等禽鳥的，也漸次加入了螻蛄、紡織娘、蟋蟀等昆蟲的，還有松鼠、山鹿、白兔、羚羊等野獸的。這是一支交響曲，由天籟組成，此呼彼應，或高或低，或強或弱，節拍明快，曲調輕靈，悅耳動聽。
不管是野獸，是昆蟲，是禽鳥，是草木，都精神飽滿，表情愉快，滿臉笑容，眼睛閃著明亮的光芒，行動敏捷，看起來全身是勁。
全身是勁才好呀！這樣才顯得活潑、強壯，前途無量，光明在望。
是的，光明在望！太陽漸漸昇高起來了。它把光芒撒遍了整個森林。到處都顯得光明燦亮。
野獸、昆蟲、禽鳥和草木，各自開始了自己的工作。
