【大紀元6月8日訊】第七回﹕八戒學舞﹐殃及舞伴﹔悟空輸牌﹐怒遷牌神

不恰當地借用『螳螂捕蟬﹐黃雀在後』這句成語﹕當芝娜一心想『捕捉』查雄之時﹐她背後也有人在想『捕捉』她。而這隻『黃雀』不是別人﹐就是盛靳云。但他相貌一般﹐身量中等﹐且不像查雄乃『官』家子弟﹐所以相形之下不免見絀。但人常無自知之明﹐常愛誇大自身的優點﹐縮小甚或無視自身的缺點。在愛情問題上﹐有的人只看外在與物質﹐不看內在與感情。故而當外在物質情況一起變化﹐夫妻就如隔宿同林之鳥而作孔雀之東南分飛。有的人走另一極端﹐把愛情看作存在於真空中的絕對純淨物。殊不知談情說愛者也需衣食住行。吃飽了肚子才能談戀愛。至於殉情者當然是偉大的﹐是難能可貴的﹐但又是可悲的﹐因為他們只奉行『愛情至上』的原則﹐沒考慮到『愛情』也是屬於『第二性』範疇。話休絮煩﹐且歸正傳。盛靳云一心想『捕螳螂』﹐而八戒也來湊熱鬧﹐但卻落了個可笑的下場。真個是﹕修道原應四大空﹐神仙何得動淫心。
第八回﹕ 電影院八戒動情﹔ 遊樂場悟空顯能

詠電影詩曰﹕燈暗帷開觀眾靜﹐光亮布幕動人影。能長能小物千姿﹐有色有聲山自行。直壁易登堪俯爬﹐凌空低下何費勁。亦真亦假假亦真﹐看取浮生一面鏡。

話說八戒一心想娶個女學生。不管在食堂裡﹐遊戲室裡﹐教室裡﹐還是在操場上﹐走廊上﹐校園中﹐他看見漂亮的女學生總想上前跟人家說話﹐但人家都不理他。他又不好用強﹐怕受師哥責罵。以後他見芝娜常到查雄房裡來﹐他也常去查雄房裡坐坐。芝娜是個較隨和的人。她也常與八戒答話﹐只不過話中常帶三分嘲笑。不知八戒是真聽不懂﹐還是裝聽不懂﹐他竟毫不在意。好在豬皮特厚﹐臉紅也透不出來。芝娜把八戒叫作『豬老弟』。八戒說﹕『老哥老弟都是平輩。俺們是同學﹐當然都是平輩。俺就當「老弟」吧。』其實按古之稱謂之一﹐除非卻屬弟兄之輩﹐否則稱對方為『弟』﹐雖曰客氣﹐實已不以平輩視之。真正平輩而客氣的稱呼曰『兄』﹐而且與年齡大小無關。有時芝娜叫八戒為『大小子』﹐意思是她的大孩子。此亦當時的玩笑語。八戒不懂﹐問張明生『大小子』是什麼意思。張明生誑他說﹕『「大小子」就是「大個子」的意思﹐說你長得高大。』八戒總算還有點小聰明﹐再問﹕『那為什麼有個「小」字﹖』張明生說﹕『用「小」字就有親熱的意思。你不聽人說「我的小乖乖」嗎﹖』八戒一聽很在理﹐以後就喜歡別人叫他『大小子』。
自從白漢民在舞會上介紹查雄與他表姐周彥君相識以來﹐查雄就念念不忘這位彥君。周彥君生得端莊靜淑﹐儀態萬方﹐特別當微笑之時﹐帶著兩個淺淺的酒渦﹐更顯得嫵媚動人。(世上不知有幾種類型的美女﹐在上沒統計過。請那位試一下。)查雄的腦海裡時時浮現出她的倩影。周彥君雖解情事﹐但她尚不以兒女私情為意。她常竊慕居里夫人獻身科學事業之精神﹐可惜人的智力發展即使到了二十三世紀尚不能求得平衡與一致。在中學時代﹐周彥君發覺自己的數理化成積平平而已﹐想要今後在這方面有所建樹﹐恐怕難以如願﹐而文科成積卻是班中翹楚﹐於是她決定棄理就文﹐報考了英語專業。其英文寫作﹐或具家學淵源﹐或有天賦之資﹐或兼而有之﹐總之﹐頗有根底。一般小老師還動不了她一個詞﹐除非想越改越壞。她有篇TIME的述志之作﹐可見一斑
Time is a never-fatigued traveler proceeding on his endless journey. He goes second by second, slowly but steadily to the Eternity, never halting for a rest. He brings everything to decay in due season, however enduring the thing may be. Even celestial globes will cease to be, our earth among them, for it is but a globe,too,in the universe, let alone a poor living creature. The human life is short at best. If we look from the height of Eternity at the human lives below that come into being and then pass out of existence, they seem to us like flash of sparks that appear and vanish in a moment. To a certain individual life is granted but once. Therefore, we must make the most use of every minute, and the waste of time is the waste of life, for time is life.
Then in what way should one spend one’s time, or rather, one’s life? Someone fools it away, walking in the streets and looking at the shopwindows all day long;someone loses it in a fight for nothing; someone gives it up to dissipation and merry-making; while others devote theirs for the benefit of their motherland and the mankind in the field of science, art or literature, etc.
In my early girlhood I began the reading of the novels like the Red Chamber Dream and all that. Books became my daily companions, and also the daily nourishment for my mind. My reading field was widened with the years. Classics and poetry were like tough meat for me in my teens, but I chewed them with perseverance and devoured them one by one. Every book I read seemed to open for me a new window through which I could peep into the magnificently decorated rooms in the grand palace of Muses. My young heart leaped with the thrill of joy at the beauties of literature. I decided then that literature should be my career.
When at school I began to learn English and gave most of my spare time to the study of it. I read English novels and poetry, and was greatly fascinated by the Occidental charms of that literature. It seemed as if I had got into another room of that palace–the room of English literature; but I have found that this room is not so splendidly adorned as that of Chinese literature. By thus speaking, I mean not that I love English literature less, but that I love our Chinese literature more. With what a proud feeling I read over and over again the books in Chinese dealing with literature; with what a delight and excitement I recite the famous poems and essays for their beautiful wording in the description of nature and the expression of the views on the philosophy of life; and with what an esteem and reverence I admire the culture of our ancestors that has a history of five thousand years. How proud I am of being born a Chinese and how wistfully I long to add something to the storage in the treasure house of literature, and then I can say with self-satisfaction that my life is not a waste.
她還喜歡把古詩詞譯成英詩中的格律體﹐既考慮押韻﹐又考慮音步﹐非這樣不足以見功力根底。有一首二百多年前一位佚名烈士的遺作﹐曰『龍華(上海近郊地名)千古仰高風﹐烈士身亡志未終。牆外桃花牆裡血﹐一般鮮艷一般紅。』此詩的意境及詞藻﹐還有烈士的胸懷﹐深深打動了她。於是她幾經推敲﹐譯成英語之五音步抑揚格詩體﹐曰﹕
To deeds sublime for ages be Longhua tied;
The great will lives on though the hero died.
Blood within the walls and peach blossoms without
In red and freshness they will both abide.
她還譯了王之渙的『登鸛雀樓』﹕『白日依山盡﹐黃河入海流。
欲窮千里目﹐更上一層樓。』其英譯為四音步抑揚格﹕
The setting sun clings to hill’s knees,
And Yellow River flows to seas.
If wish for longer view o’er miles,
Then get on floor above, oh, please!
還譯有王維的『渭城曲』曰﹕『渭城朝雨浥輕塵﹐客舍青青柳色新。勸君更盡一杯酒﹐西出陽關無故人。』其英譯如下﹕
The morn rain o’ Wei Town has laid the light dust clean,
And willow trees around the inn look fresh and green.
A cup o’ farewell yet, oh you, I do entreat,
For west across Yang Pass, and friends but seldom meet.
再譯有李白的『黃鶴樓送孟浩然之廣陵』曰﹕『故人西辭黃鶴樓﹐煙花三月下揚州。孤帆遠影碧空盡﹐唯見長江天際流。』其英譯為七音步抑揚格﹕
To Yellow Stork Winehouse in West, my friend now says goodbye.
He’s heading down for Yangzhou in misty and flowery March.
The vague distant lonely sail is melting into blue sky,
And only, lo, the Yangtze flows under the heavenly arch.
