紅龍 (Ⅰ)（彩墨）
朋友家裡養了一條印尼進口的紅龍魚，因為長得又大又長，一個魚缸只能放一條。
初遇乍見這種魚時，你一定會被牠的「氣質」所吸引。悠然游動、不疾不徐、氣閑尊貴，頗有帝王風範，再加上牠身上閃耀的紅光，說牠是「魚之貴族」，真可謂當之無愧。
這種魚在深夜時會發聲鳴叫，似乎是思念牠們的故鄉。起初朋友也是狐疑驚懼，從沒碰過的事（三更半夜在房間內聽到客廳裡有人呼叫，是何等令人疑懼之事），後來知道這是紅龍魚叫，久了也就習慣了。
桃園縣蘆竹鄉有一戶人家以製作標本為業，每次經過他家，我都進去看一看，他們製作的小羊、天堂鳥、紅龍魚、蟒蛇等標本都很專精、栩栩如生，有時我也帶寫生簿去畫一畫。
Arowana I/ink and color painting
A friend has an Arowana fish, which was imported from Indonesia. Because of the length and size of this fish, an aquarium can usually hold only one.
You will certainly be impressed by its “charisma” when you first see this kind of fish. It swims at its own leisurely pace, neither too fast nor too slow, and maintains an elegant bearing. It seems to have the deportment of a king or emperor. Together with its shining red scales, it is certainly worthy of the title of “nobility of fish.”
This kind of fish makes a sound or call late at night, as if remembering its homeland. My friend was initially disturbed and fearful, because he had never encountered anything like that before (to hear the fish’s call from one’s living room in the middle of the night is enough to scare anyone). He later learned that this was the call of the Arowana, and eventually got used to it.
There is a shop in Luzhu Township, Taoyuan County, that produces preserved specimens, and I go in to take a look every time I pass the shop. Their lambs, bird-of-paradise, arowana, and pythons are all extremely well-done and exceptionally lifelike. Sometimes I even bring my sketchbook and draw a bit.@
