A 100-year-old British man ran his way to eight sprinting world records on Thursday and will try to set another when he takes part in Sunday’s Toronto Marathon.

Singh will be the oldest of the 5000 entrants who will attempt the full 26-mile event.

The centenarian was born on a farm in India in 1911 and started competitive running at the age of 89 after losing his wife and son.
